6 Sizes 2 - 4-1/2" Finished Side. Cut 2-inch to 4-1/2-inch hexagons from strips, or fussy cut the largest size. (Remember, we measure hexagons by the length of the finished side!)

The 4-1/2-inch hexagon is approximately 7 1/4 inches across from one flat side to the other. This new tool is perfect for displaying large prints, machine embroidery, and quilting. The hexagon shape is so much more interesting than a square. Great for "I Spy" quilts.

Measuring with this 60-degree rulers is easy! Other equilateral triangle rulers measure the height of the triangle from the center of the bottom to the top point. This ruler measure the triangle on the side. In fact, all From Marti Michell family members are size-defined by the length of the finished side because it is the only measurement that is common to all of the shapes in the family.
