Aurifil Thread

Aurifil is the "Cadillac" of cotton thread. It is ideal for longarm quilting, patchwork piecing, embroidery and appliqué. The thread is manufactured in Italy from 100% Egyptian cotton. Because of the temperature and growing season, the cotton grown in Egypt produces the longest fibers for manufacturing cotton thread. Starting with longer cotton fibers minimizes the fuzz, thus, increasing the thread strength.
