Hot air balloons floating in the Arizona sky are such a beautiful and fun sight to see. Fabrics Unlimited is celebrating hot air balloons by hosting a 2025 Floating on Air Quilt Challenge.
Entries will be due no later than January 7, 2025
Entries will be displayed at Fabrics Unlimited January 9 to February 6, 2025. During this time, customers can vote on their favorite quilts.
Based on votes received, the following prizes will be awarded:

1st place - $100 gift certificate

2nd place - $50 gift certificate

3rd place - $25 gift certificate
All participants will receive a coupon for a one-time store discount.
Get started today by either:

Stopping in Fabrics Unlimited (2089 W Acoma Blvd; Lake Havasu City) to pick up a participant packet (cost is $5)

Ordering a participant packet online (shipping charge will apply)
Entry Guidelines for Quilt:

Somehow celebrate hot air balloons
-
Be 20” x 20” in size
-
Use the two fabrics in the participant packet (use at least one-third of the fabric provided)

Can use any additional fabrics
-
Can use embellishments such as paint, thread, ink, beads, buttons, etc.

Have top, middle and back layers, which are held together by stitching
- All quilts must have a label attached to back of quilt clearly showing participant's name and name of quilt.
