Have you ever wanted to try Long Arm Quilting? Are you self-taught but not quite getting the results you would like to have? Been away from quilting and want to "brush up" your skills? This is the event for you! National Educator Leslie Main will be starting this 4-Day Workshop with a Beginning class on Day 1, which will get you familiar with the machine and teach you the basics you need to start long arm quilting your quilts. This class removes the mystery of longarm quilting by explaining machine and frame elements and features, how to load a quilt, and vital facts about thread, needles, and tension. Handi Quilter longarm machine and frame systems come in various sizes for every budget and are user-friendly because they are designed by a quilter, for quilters – just like you!
Following the lunch break, Leslie will continue on with Free Motion Quilting Foundations. Quilters everywhere LOVE the excitement and fun of free-motion quilting – and it’s easier than you think! Create flowing designs by connecting simple design elements with continuous lines, traveling across the quilt or filling in a specific area. Learn how drawing and muscle memory contribute to beautiful free-motion quilting, and how you can create stunning designs.
Cost is only $125 per day and includes hands-on use of our Handi Quilter Long Arm Machines with Pro-Stitcher, all of the fabric, thread, and batting you will need, teacher handouts, swag bag, and lunch each day.
