We will end with Pro-Stitcher Designer Software Creativity. Pro-Stitcher Designer is a full featured, vector-based drawing software which gives you the ability to quickly design, edit, customize, export and import any quilting motif you can imagine. The class will start with a basic overview of the easy-to-use features. In class we will play with creating our own artwork using the Draw and Auto-Digitizing tools, add stitches, and stitch the designs out with Pro-Stitcher in class. Adding to the day's creativity we will review creative ways to quilt, add fills, paint and embellish our Designer creations. You will have the ability to save your designs in any long arm format that you need. So that means YOU DON"T HAVE TO OWN OR USE A HANDI QUILTER MACHINE TO BE ABLE TO USE PRO-STITCHER DESIGNER!!!! No matter which long arm system you use, I encourage you to take this class! Students need to bring a windows-based laptop computer and a mouse.
Cost is only $125 per day and includes hands-on use of our Handi Quilter Long Arm Machines with Pro-Stitcher, all of the fabric, thread, and batting you will need, teacher handouts, swag bag, and lunch each day.
