Thread can completely transform a quilt—and this hands-on class will show you how! Explore a variety of thread types, weights, and fibers as you learn where each one shines, how to achieve beautiful results, and how to avoid common thread frustrations.
You'll stitch with several different threads, compare their appearance and performance, and gain the confidence to choose the perfect thread for every quilting project.
After lunch (and, of course, a little more chocolate!), you'll put your new skills to work by creating a beautiful thread-painting project to take home. It's the perfect opportunity to discover just how creative thread can be!
Whether you quilt on a Handi Quilter longarm or a domestic sewing machine, you'll gain practical knowledge, hands-on experience, and a new appreciation for the amazing possibilities of thread.
